KMH with Derby Win in Shootout

(PM EWHL) European Women’s Hockey League: in the Budapest city derby KMH wins 3-2 after shootout, Team Poland surprises in Vienna with a 6-3 against Sabres…

MAC Budapest was already leading 2-0 after first period, but KMH equalized the game in the second. In third period and overtime the league newcomer had a 15-6 advantage in shots but could not score, while KMH succeeded in the following shootout. That means the titleholder still stays unbeaten in 2019-20 season and prolongs the winning streak which already lasts 26 EWHL (League and Supercup) games as their last loss was on January 27, 2019.

In Vienna Team Poland / Silesia Brackens surprised with 6-3 win which means that the league newcomer still has the chance to qualify for the final 4 tournament. And record champion Sabres is already under pressure again, when they will play the second game within 24 hours against Team Poland…
