KMH in Final 4

(PM EWHL) European Women’s Hockey League: less than 24 hours after their first season loss KMH Budapest shoot Salzburg from their home ice and secured their spot in the Final 4 Tournament…

So the Hungarians managed the top 4 qualification as third team after MAC Budapest and Aisulu Almaty and beside that also showed a gigantic reaction after yesterday’s game. On the other side the 1-19 was the highest EWHL loss in Salzburg’s club history.

Team Poland beat the KEHV Lakers also in the second game – this time 3-1 – and jumped on fourth place with 24 points. Followed by the Sabres Vienna (23, but 2 games less played) and the EVB Eagles South Tyrol (21 and one game less than Team Poland). Even Salzburg and Hvidovre still have theoretical chances with their 16 points. By the way, the Eagles South Tyrol could not repeat their sensational result from Saturday when playing MAC Budapest and lost clearly with 1-6. The leader is now already five points ahead of local rival KMH and 7 ahead of Aisulu Almaty but the latter two have one game less played.
