Successful EWHL Comeback for Sabres

1 year, 8 months and 1 day the Eagles had to wait until they could celebrate winning a point again. On January 29, 2022 they won 4-3 on the road against Bolzano, now on September 30, 2023 they take a point in Klagenfurt after a 3-4 shootout loss against the KEHV Lakers. The home team was leading 2-0 and 3-1, but Salzburg fought back and tied the game in last period.

Tauron Metropolia Silesia won already three games in a row, after the games against Bolzano on last weekend they beat the KSV Neuberg Highlanders 5-1. Defending Champion HK Budapest won against Budapest Jegkorong Akademia thanks to an impressive second period (4-0) with 5-3. And Bratislava had an outstanding third period against Graz Huskies (5-0) to secure their clear 6-0 win.
