Britt Wortel (Amsterdam Tigers) on their first DFEL games ever and the team’s progress, 24.09.2023

We talked to Amsterdam Tigers‘ captain and forward Britt Wortel after her first games in Germany’s top league DFEL (Deutsche Fraueneishockey Bundesliga) ever. Despite a 1:4 and 2:6 defeat it was a great weekend for her and her team. Not only did they play their first games, but scored three goals against Germany’s vice champion Mad Dogs Mannheim.
Britt gives us an insight into the weekend and what she and her fellow campaigners want to build in Amsterdam to to enable girls and women to play and develop the game.
