KICK-OFF FOR THE NEW EWHL SEASON

The European Women’s Hockey League kicks off the new season this weekend with two games. It kicks off in Bratislava on Friday and moves to Bolzano on Sunday. Aisulu Almaty will face two away games.

–HC SKP Bratislava became champions last season. Nevertheless, the team from Slovakia had a small relaunch in the summer. The team now starts with the name HK PSRZ Bratislava and a new management and can also kick off the new season on September 6. The defending champions will host Aisulu Almaty on Friday. The Kazakh team finished last season in fourth place, but won both games in the basic round against Bratislava.

After the opening game on Friday, Aisulu will travel on to South Tyrol to face EVB Eagles South Tyrol. The team from Bolzano finished the last basic round in tenth place in the table. Aisulu also won these two matches last year.
