Laure Mériguet (Genève Futur Hockey) on Switzerland’s loss vs. Finland at WEHT, Liberec, 06.02.2025

It was Laure Mériguet’s first game for Switzerland’s national team „Frauen-Nati“, so we talked to her about her experience of that very special day.

The 16-year old defender did not only play, but already got ice time for the penalty killing in this first game and talks about it and her shifts and the trust Colin Muller already has in her.

We also asked Laure how she experienced playing in the women’s league for Fribourg-Gotteron as opposed to her regular club Genève Futur Hockey and where she sees herself in the future.
